A weekly status digest

Subscribers of status.siba.az now get one email on Monday morning: seven days of uptime per component and every incident of the week.

Until now status.siba.az wrote to subscribers only when an incident opened, changed or closed. From 21 September it also sends one digest a week, on Monday from 09:00 Baku time.

The digest lists every monitored component with its uptime over the seven whole days ending Sunday, from the checks our own origin server runs every two minutes. A row is marked up at 99.9% or better, degraded at 99% or better, and down below that. Days inside an announced maintenance window are left out, the same way the uptime table on the status page leaves them out. Under the rows is every incident that opened that week, with when it began, its severity and how long it lasted, or a line saying there were none.

Nothing in it is estimated; it is a summary of what was measured. Subscribing is one email address and one click to confirm, at status.siba.az. Every mail carries the link to stop.
